Descend from Tirumala to Alipiri in no less than 28 minutes. Reaching earlier causes automatic automated ₹1,000 speeding fines. Always drive in 2nd/3rd gear using engine braking.

Alipiri Toll Gates open daily at 3:00 AM and close at 12:00 AM (Midnight). No private or rental vehicles are permitted onto the ghat road between 12 AM and 3 AM.
